Teaching Practice
1.1 Procedures of Teaching
I am started teaching on Monday, August 20th
2018 in classes 5/1, 5/2 and 5/3 on the five senses material. Before starting
the lesson, I am introduced myself to students and greeted students. After
that, I am telling the material to be studied today. Then, I ask students to
play games that is guessing objects and friends with some activities. Before
starting games, I am divided students into 5 groups each group has 7 to 8
students.

The first group
will do games that is guessing their friends by touching their friend’s faces,
the first group was study about the function of Hand/Skin. The second group did
games guessing their friends by listening to the sounds of their friends, the
second group related to ear function. The third group performed games guessing
objects by smelling the scent of the object, this group was related to the
function of the nose. The fourth group doing games guessing objects by feeling
the taste of the object, this group is related to the function of the tongue.
The fifth group doing games guessing objects from a picture, this group is
related to eye function. If students fail to guess correctly then I give
punishment in the form of put powder on students face. This game aims to enable
students to recognize and know the function of five senses. After the game was
finished, then I am ask students to work on the worksheet and workbook until
the end of the lesson.
The next teaching
practice was on Tuesday, August 21st 2018 on grades 5/2 and 5/3, and
Wednesday, August 22nd 2018 at grade 5/1. In this learning, I am teaching about the future
that is introducing them to some work they can do in the future. Before
starting learning, I am greeted students. Next, I present some pictures of work
accompanied by names in English and Thai so students can easily understand.
Then, I gave the worksheet students to draw their future. When finished, I ask
students to play games that is guessing the work based on pictures drawn
alternately by the students and the last student will guess the picture. This
game is done in groups, I divide students into four groups. Each group has 10
students.

The next teaching
practice I did on Monday 27th August 2018. I did not teach on
Thursday and Friday because I am followed student activities at the temple for
two days, so I delayed teaching time on Monday. In this learning, I am taught
about the seasons to students in grades 5/1, 5/2 and 5/3. Learning begins by
saying greetings and then asking the attendance of students and then starting
to explain about teaching materials using powerpoint presentation. After finishing the
presentation, then I ask students to work on the workbook. After finished
workbook, I ask students to play games. This game aims to test student’s
understanding by finding a partner based on the cards held by students. I
divided students into two large groups, each group of 20 people. The first
group I gave was the question card, the second group I gave the answer card.
Next, I ask students to look for their partners based on the available cards.
If students have found their partner, students are asked to sit down. Students
who cannot find and have a partner who is wrong to get punishment are put
powder on student’s face.

1.2 Time Management and Organizing Activities
The duration of teaching is 50 minutes, during
that time I have to teach, play games and work on workbooks/worksheets so that
sometimes the time is lacking. This has happened when I taught five senses
material in grade 5/2, students did not have time to work on the workbook that
I had planned in the lesson plan. That can be happened because, when starting
learning students enter the class late after completing the other classes. So
that the time is reduced.
1.3 Problem-Solving
The biggest problem that I have is when
students don't understand what I said, so the student's response is very slow
when I explain. Students will understand if teacher bowling has been translated.
But, to overcome these problems I included the material that I taught in Thai language accompanied by pictures so that the problem could be resolved. The learning
that I do always uses group learning, because in my opinion grade 5 students
have been able to work together well, and can help each other if their friends
have difficulty understanding the lesson.
1.4 Classroom Management

finished their workbook, teacher go around to see student’s work and help some
student if the student needed.
